14K

14K Gold is available in three colors:

  • Very bright yellow gold
  • Deeper gold with a reddish rose tinge
  • White gold

The color difference between 14K and 18K is caused by the amount of gold used. A 14K gold item will also be lighter than the same item in 18K gold.

In order to comply with European regulations (REACH), we use nickel-free white gold. Consequently, the color appears slightly yellow, as you can see on the pictures.

Please also be aware that we do not use rhodium plating to whiten our white gold because plating eventually wears off. If you really want to whiten your model, you can always turn to your local jeweler to apply rhodium plating. But be aware that this plating will need to be reapplied each time it wears off and once the natural, slightly yellow color of white gold will have reappeared.

The exact composition of the different colors and grades can be found in the “Technical Specifications” tab.

Lead times:

  • White Gold: 10-13 business days
  • Yellow Gold: 10-13 business days
  • Red Gold: 12-15 business days
