Description
Let That Sink In is a gearing puzzle. The object is to remove the yellow gear. The red, green and blue gears have a gearing ration of 7/10 x 11/10 x 13/10 = 1001/1000. This means that, when turning the crank, the yellow gear sinks in at a glacial speed (around 400 turns). Moreover, the gears have placed such that the direction of rotation of the crank is counter-intuitive (and counter-clockwise). The 1001/1000 is a gearing-ratio gem that was discovered by Bram Cohen, see this post.
