Maurizio Tonini was born in Treviso, Italy, in 1968. After getting one degree in Art in 1986 and one in Sculpture in 1990, he started teaching at the Academy of fine Arts. First, he’s in Turin and since 1992 he teachs Artistic Anatomy at the Academy of fine Arts in Venice. In 2003 he started teaching 3D Modeling ( http://www.accademiavenezia.it/docenti/75 ) for the graduation of First and the Second level. He has also designed and made stained glass (http://www.benvenuto.it/en/artistic-collaborations/maurizio_tonini01.htm) and sculptures (http://www.mauriziotonini.it). In June 2007, as part of its business planning and design, he has registered an industrial patent for a system of modular elements, called "Twin system" (patent ns. Ref. TC / 16303). He produces models for kayaks and canoes and design objects using rapid prototyping (https://sites.google.com/site/tonini3d/).
