Description
Elliptic Gear Art is a piece of kinetic art. It features 12 elliptic gears that are connected in a square. The gears rotate around the focus points opf the ellipses. The teeth of the gears are herringbone-style. Whereas this work has no functional purpose, it is mesmerizing to look and feel the shapeshifting.
