Silver

Examples of Silver 3D prints

The quality of a silver model is comparable to the kind of jewelry you can find in jewelry stores.

Our Silver prints consist of 93% solid sterling silver and a 7% metal alloy of copper and zinc to improve durability. Silver is available in five various finishes: gloss, high-gloss, satin, sandblasting, and antique silver. Because it is very malleable and shines brightly after polishing, Silver is mainly used for jewelry, such as rings, cufflinks, bracelets, pendants, and earrings.

You can expect your Silver print to ship out seven business days after you order. If Silver pieces capture your interest, make sure to design a successful print by adhering to the design guide.

Gold

Examples of Gold 3D prints

Because pure gold is too soft for durable jewelry, solid gold is mixed with an alloy to harden it for longer wear.

Our Gold prints are available as 14k or 18k solid gold in three different colors: white gold, red gold, and yellow gold. The white gold looks like silver with a slightly yellow tint, the red gold has a rose tinge, and the traditional yellow gold has a subtle, warm coloring.

Our Gold pieces are shipped out within eight business days. Check out the Gold design guide to understand how to best design for this material.

Brass

Examples of Brass 3D prints

Brass consists of 80% copper, 15% zinc, and 5% tin.

Last, but definitely not least, is Brass. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc, is incredibly versatile, and is available in a wide variety of colors and platings. You can expect the same level of detail you’d get with Silver and Gold prints. Brass prints can either be untreated finished with one of the following: natural PU coating, yellow gold-plated polish, red gold-plated polish, rhodium-plated polish, chrome-plated polish, or black color-plated polish. Brass is typically used for detailed miniatures, sculptures, or jewelry. This material is perfect if you want your piece to bling like Gold without spending as much money.

Brass prints are typically shipped out in 10 business days, but shipping varies according to the chosen finish. As always, take a look at the design guide to end up with a successful Brass print.
