Hi iMaterialise fans,
Symbiotic Cubes are two fully functional 3x3x3 Rubik’s Cubes that are “grown” through each other. Each of the two 3x3x3 cubes can be scrambled and solved like a regular Rubik’s Cube. Once the shape of the Symbiotic Cubes has been restored (but not necessarily the stickers) then the other 3x3x3 can be scrambled. This adds an extra layer of confusion to the solving experience.The puzzle has four cuts in each direction, that is twelve in total. The total number of pieces is 125, though the 27 cubies at the inside will never see daylight.
