Hi iMaterialise fans,
Sqrt-2 Gears is a gearing system that features a cascade of two Sqrt(2)-to-one gearing ratios, resulting in a two-to-one overall gearing ratio. How can that be? The square root of two is an irrational number, whereas gear ratios are supposed to be rational. What is happening here?
