Hello everyone and welcome to the official i.materialise blog. This is your source for all i.materialise related projects, updates, and information on our developments, special offers and contests. We will be posting interesting information related to 3D printing and design here as well.
So, what is i.materialise? i.materialise is a brand new 3D printing service that we are launching in an effort to make 3D printing as easy as printing on paper, simple as that. Basically, with this project we intend to make 3D printing available to everybody who likes to create stuff. We are building on over 20 years of industrial prototyping, tooling and 3D printing experience, and are aiming to bring all of our knowledge to your doorstep. Our selection of materials and finishes is one of the biggest on the market, and we are planning to continuously improve our website, hopefully not without your help 😉
Currently, i.materialise is in the BETA stage and this means that our services are now available to the general public. A Couple of weeks ago we started a lamp modeling contest at BlenderArtists.org/forum and were really happy with the response from the Blender community. The contest is now over, and the winners have been chosen, so check out the Blender Artists lamp contest posts to see the best designs voted on by the BlenderArtists community.
As we blog, we are hoping to hear back from you, because we believe that, in order to make a truly unique service, your feedback is necessary. Tell us what you think. We value your opinion.
