i.materialise site redesign
Today we launched the first version of our new site. In the coming weeks more updates will follow. We”ve updated the look and feel of the site and hope you like the results. The most important thing is that we”re going to give your stories and your designs a much more central place in the website. We want to emphasize that we as a company are a factory for your ideas. Your creativity as a designer, inventor or artist coupled with our 3D printing prowess leads to the expression of your idea in an object. This object could be a keepsake, a Design Academy graduation project, an invention, a jewel, an art piece or a product meant for sale. For each object we will use all our skill, years of experience and equipment to create the most accurate representation of your idea that we can. We will treat each file and each 3D printed object with care and take the time to give you the advice you need. And to show the world what your idea and design skill and our manufacturing leads to we will tell your story. We will tell it to the world because it is through your story that people can come to realise our capability. We will tell your story, because it is only through making you successful that we will grow and keep growing in the long run. We will tell your story, because by placing you, your brand and your ideas center stage we let the value accrue to you. We”re betting that the most talented are also the most demanding and that they will drift to the place that best helps them express their ideas while letting them keep their identity.  Â

The free shipping experiment was a success. Based on your feedback and the encouraging results so far we have already decided to continue it albeit in a different form. From now on we will have free shipping on all orders above $99 or 99 Euro.

We have a new Creation Corner, a place for all the tools that make designing and customization for 3D printing acessible for everyone.
Our 3D Print Lab is where you can upload your 3D designs.
We”ve collected all our support information in one section that will be expanded. We”re also now using Get Satisfaction to make it easier for us to listen to your suggestions and help you.
We”ve also got a nice page for the Blender, Rhino and Sketchup 3D printing plug ins.
We have an inspiration section where we will showcase inspiring designs.
