i.materialise Is Getting into the World Cup Spirit!
The long-awaited FIFA World Cup 2014 kicks off tonight in Sao Paolo, Brazil with a game between Brazil and Croatia. Soccer fans’ eyes will probably be glued to the TV from tonight through July 13th, but we thought we’d celebrate this festival in a more unique way this time: a soccer board game with 3D Printed players!
The players are 3D Printed in polyamide and dyed in tribute to tonight’s game: yellow for Brazil and blue for Croatia. But wait, was yellow available for polyamide before? And even the blue seems different from the existing color, doesn’t it? We’ll uncover the secret next Wednesday the 18th!
