On April 21-24, Materialise organized its World Conference. Unfortunately, the volcano Eyjafjallajoküll on Iceland started erupting and closed the whole European air down for traffic. Many people were not able to join in, including the guys from Google SketchUp who were going to give the Keynote speech on the conference.Â
The ash cloud didn’t stop them though and they made an amazing video on the future of 3D modeling and 3D printing. Big thanks to Aidan and John from Google SketchUp!
The video talks on 3D modeling – where we are now – and where we are heading too. They (and we) believe 3D printing will be an important technology to get the ‘3D’ in almost every household.
