Digital Forming was present at the i.materialise meetup

Riccardo Bovo, from UK based software company Digital Forming, gave a presentation at our Meetup last Friday. Informing our community about the possibilities of their software.

Riccardo Bovo: “Our aim is to empower designers too exploit digital manufacturing for mass customisation. Our tools will enable them to engage with their consumers and build a business around customisation.”

Riccardo: “The first step is to create an account in UCODO, our demo website, and download the ODO software, once the software is downloaded the designer can start to import his 3D models and create customizable objects. When this phase is completed the 3D data are upload to UCODO.com where the product is tested to be complaint with 3D printing and approved. Once this stage is complete the designer can embed the product on its own website and start marketing it with the aim of inviting users to play with and customize the design.”

In the future, all the models made with the software can then be 3D printed through our service. Just click ‘i.materialise’ when you’re checking out.
