Back to school Meetup: new faces, new ideas!
What an exciting meeting we had last Friday; We saw some familiar faces, but most of them were new, coming from Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.
Start of the presentation; all eyes on Miranda, our director.
CURIOUS
Although the group was very quiet in the beginning – which is normal, since they didn’t know each other- after the i.materialise presentation everyone started to socialize. While checking out the materials and asking our support engineers questions about material strength, cost and so on some were really glad to show projects they were working on. Other people didn’t have any experience in 3D printing at all, but were curious about the whole process and were thinking about working with 3D modelers for their jewelry design or other objects.
ACTION
Next on the program was the tour through the Materialise buildings. People are always very excited to see a few of the 72 printers in action and hear interesting 3D printing stories. It gives a good view on the in-house machines and production. It’s always funny to see how amazed people are when they see how big our company actually is.
A Meetup is the perfect way to connect with fellow community members.
