Parallellepipeda
Last night, the official opening of Parallellepipeda took place at the new M museum in Leuven, Belgium. What happens when art and science meet? That was the point of departure when the Parallellepipeda research project was setup in 2007. For three years, eminent artists and scientists from K.U. Leuven and elsewhere opened their worlds to one another and discovered unknown worlds of inspiration. The results of all this can now be seen in the Parallellepipeda exhibition.
The exhibition also contains a 3D scanning booth from Eyetronics, some pieces of the the .MGX collection and creations from i.materialise. For two weeks, beginning January 28, visitors can see first hand the incredible possibilities of 3D printing technologies, Tuesday to Sunday, 11am to 6pm. Getting a 3D scan will be possible on the 29th and 31st of January and the 7th and 11th of February. For further details, visit www.mleuven.be or www.eyeBcom.com.
