Important News: i.materialise And Materialise OnSite Are Merging This October

As of October 2025, Materialise will merge its two online ordering platforms into one: Materialise OnSite. Below, you’ll find some helpful info about what’s next, what to expect, and what it all means for now.

Merging our two platforms under one banner is the logical next step in a journey that we’re incredibly proud of. It’s also an important one; by consolidating our efforts, we can continue to provide quality 3D-printed parts and prototypes you’ve come to expect from Materialise.

What this means for i.materialise

Starting October 31, 2025, you’ll no longer be able to place orders or use the shop feature on i.materialise, but you’ll still be able to log in to view your account information. You can continue to use the platform as usual until then, after which we hope you’ll continue to choose us as your 3D printing partner via Materialise OnSite.

Test it out with an exclusive discount!

Want to try OnSite before the big day? Create an account and use code hsqnmogr to get 10% off every OnSite order between August 1st and 31st inclusive — use it as many times as you like!

What to look for on Materialise OnSite

As OnSite has always specialized in producing industrial parts and products, it has a few interesting features that you won’t have seen on i.materialise

  • Performance-grade materials: Access specialist polymers suitable for demanding industrial applications.
  • Fast Lane: Get your parts shipped within 48 hours when you work with select materials — look for the ⚡symbol.
  • Precious metals: Expect to see brass, bronze, copper, gold, and silver on OnSite in October

OnSite is constantly evolving, so new features are just around the corner. Create an account, and we’ll keep you in the loop with detailed email updates on all the latest enhancements. It’s the easiest way to get the most out of your online 3D printing experience.

If you’re looking for a particular material while exploring OnSite, one aspect you may need to consider is the differences in how they’re named — this article has all the information you’ll need about those changes. You can also get answers to all your technical questions via our support center.

Thank you for everything

To everyone who has made this platform a part of their 3D printing journey, we want to end by saying thank you. i.materialise was a trailblazer. A hub of ingenuity, creativity, and exploration — a spirit we hope you’ll bring with you when we make the move this October! After all, this isn’t goodbye. It’s see you over there.
