Intrigued by the idea of bringing together the essential element fire with the future of manufacturing, mueller goranko design consultancy designed a 3D printed candleholder. Together with .MGX the Stuttgart based design firm realized their vision of providing an affordable yet curious additively manufactured product to the user. Snowflame.MGX plays with the contrast of the natural, vivid candlelight and the parametric generated structure. Class candle holder excluded. mueller goranko design consultancy was founded by the designers Sebastian Müller and Jewgeni Goranko in 2011. Both share a curiosity for exploring technological possibilities to provoke the users perception, as well as a deep understanding of material, shape and detail gained through their work at the design office Jehs and Laub and their early collaboration projects at the State Academy of Art and Design. Their Stuttgart based office consults and designs for leading companies within the field of industrial and interaction design.
