Description
Weird Disk 2xminus6 is a twisty puzzle that is related to Weird Disk 4x12, Weird Disk 6x6 and Weird Disk 5x7. However, unlike its cousins, the last number has a minus sign: "two-by-minus-six". The two-fold center is a normal center. The six-fold center is inside-out, surrounding the whole puzzle. Conversely, the static crescent-shaped "frame" of the puzzle is a the inside. According to Carl Hoff, this puzzle is the very first "deeper-than-origin circle puzzle". The way that the puzzle should be played, is by holding the crescent-shaped frame static and turn alternatingly the two-fold axis and the sixfold one. The latter move involves rotating the whole outside of the puzzle, while keeping the inside circle stationary.
