Description

PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE ORDERING!

To get all the SLS parts needed to make one Double Circle Real 5x5x5 you need to order a total of 3 sinterbox packings.  You need one (1) copy of this packing and two copies of Packing B.  Since the parts are packaged in a sinterbox, the parts cannot be dyed black by i.Materialise and will arrive white.

The Double Circle Real 5x5x5 seen in the attached photos has had its SLS parts dyed black using Dharma Acid Dye True Black.  To assemble the puzzle you will also need 6 screws.  The screws I used are Part 91251A153 from McMaster-Carr.  These are 6-32 Thread Size, 1" Long, Socket Head Screws.  You will also need tiles cut from 3mm thick colored acrylic.  Contact me and I can provide a template that will allow you to cut your own tiles or I can also offer you a set of tiles (and screws if needed) separately from this i.Materialise purchase.

The hole in the center tile will accommodate a 7/64" hex key/driver.  This allows the puzzle to be disassembled after it is finished without the need to remove any tiles.  I use E6000 glue to attach the acrylic tiles.

Carl Hoff

Welcome to the i.materialize shop of Dr. Carl Hoff. I started publishing twisty puzzle designs back in January 2007 on TwistyPuzzles.com. Up until 2011, all my designs were made in POV-Ray which doesn't allow saving in a format suitable for 3D printing. However after seeing other designers offering 3D printed designs for sale, I've now taught myself some tricks and I'm offering my designs for sale here.
