Lead screw slider nut for Nikon LS-4000 scanner

by Gleb Shtengel

  • Lead screw slider nut for Nikon LS-4000 scanner

Description

When it comes, it will be a little tight. I use DuPont Krytox GPL 205

Grease, (any other pure PFPE / PTFE with no additives will work). Lubricate generously inside of the nut and run it few times over the leads crew. After a little while it will become properly loose.

Servicing and repairing Nikon film scanners is my hobby. I have taken accurate measurements of some plastic parts that are prone to breaking. The parts offered for sale here have been tested to work properly. I have few others, that have not been tested as extensively, but I think work. If you need other parts - contact me through my website: http://www.shtengel.com/gleb/Scanners.htm
