Description

This is a 10¾EW trumpet mouthpiece, made from scans of the rim, cup, throat, and backbore of a custom Megatone Vincent Bach 10¾EW trumpet mouthpiece,  designed in VennCAD.

The shallow cup and wide rim give plenty of support in the upper register, with the large, open 117 backbore for an easy blow and less resistance, especially for trumpet-shank piccolo trumpets.  The 10-3/4EW [10.75EW] is a re-designated Bach New York 17C2, itself based on a Rudy Muck 17C example.

The lower register is a bit harder to control due to the lower density, compared to the middle and upper registers.

Overall length 87.3 mm / 3.437", and [greatest] outer diameter of 28.55 mm / 1.124".  This model is intended for experimentation, with the price intended to defray scanning costs.

Note that the shank opening is thin and fragile with resin prints.
