Fox Brooch

Fox Brooch made of shiny brass.

I designed this funky fox for my mother in law since she is a big fan of foxes. This piece of art looks great and feels surprisingly heavy because it's pretty thick.

The brooch has an integrated mechanism behind where a normal safety pin can be inserted. First I had a different idea how to do it but finally did it this way and it works pretty ok. I sanded pin ends so they are not too sharp. Do also protect the front side of the fox by a thick paper or similar when you bend the pin by pliers. Scratches around the pin are inevitable but not on the front side if you do it carefully. Have fun.
