Description
Unstuck Gears was designed in 1986, but first prototyped over 38 years later. The puzzle has ten geared pieces that need to be placed onto a base with ten pins. The goal is to place the pieces such that all pieces rotate when you turn one. If one places the pieces randomly, the gears get likely stuck, e.g. in a triangle. The puzzle is very hard to solve randomly. However, the puzzle becomes much easier with some systematic thinking.
