Description

What is Spartacus?

Spartacus is a hybrid puzzle combining Radiolarian 3 and Pentultimate. Parts count is 545. Some of the smallest parts have spare copies in case you lost them.

Spare core can be ordered separately here:

https://i.materialise.com/en/shop/item/core-v5

The model can be ordered in white or black, but I recommend ordering it in black. When i.materialise dye a model they clean it very well so you can start assembly right away and skip the cleaning and dying. The only parts that need cleaning in this case are the 20 preassembled Pentultimate corners. In the next video you can see how to brake them in and remove the most of the dust inside.

After that you wash them with water(Only these 20 parts).

If you order the model in white you need to clean the powder with soap and hot water from all the parts, then assemble the puzzle, break it in, disassemble it, wash it again, dye it.

Screws: Six 12mm M3 screws required. (Springs are not needed)

Note that right after assembly the puzzle will be very hard to move. That's normal for correctly designed puzzles. Just after a few moves of every possible turn it will start to move a lot better. After a few solves it will move perfectly.
