Description
Rolling Hearts was designed with the Gearify v2 software by Michael Valle (https://www.gearifysoftware.com/). I was invited as beta tester of new version 2, which supports involute gears. I started with a heart shape, and let gearify calculate some companion shapes with 1, 2 and 4-fold symmetry. I combined these into an S-shape. The little gears, with all colors of the rainbow, roll around the irregular S-shape.
