Description
A scale representation of a 2 spindle cable laying rebuild of the WW2 Built ‘Parrot’wagon Built by both the LNER and the GWR they were modified in the 1971 to carry cable drums for infrastructure work. 8 of these wagons were fitted with 3 spindles to carry one large and two smaller drums, and 2 others were built with 2 spindles to carry two large drums. (This kit allows the latter to be modelled) This kit requires paint, glue and transfers Ratio (125) diamond frame bogies. These wagons are ideal for a first super detailing project such as fitting handbrake wheels, rivets (on GWR built examples only) and other finer details, without the need to scratch build the superstructure.
