Ariadne Kapelioti
Ariadne grew up in Thessaloniki, Greece, where she received a BA in Physics from Aristotle University. After learning the complex art of silversmithing in her home town, she completed jewellery design and fashion contextual studies in London, at London College of Fashion and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. Around 2008, she started designing jewellery under the nickname SUPERLORA and upon the end of her studies, that passion of hers turned into a small jewellery business. In addition, she is working as a freelance fashion stylist, while, recently, she graduated from Condé Nast College. Overall, she considers herself as a scientist-gone artist, or an artist with a scientific approach: "Science and Art may appear to be two conflicting subjects, however, they have fundamental similarities. They both require creativity, inspiration, experimentation and hard work. Science has always ruled my mind and Art has always made my heartbeat high!"
