Zigguphi by BRAM & OSKAR

Hi iMaterialise fans,

Zigguphi is a minor variation to Zigguflat. Bram Cohen suggested to move the exit by one unit. This significantly reduced the number of moves. Zigguflat is a binary puzzle: the number of moves doubles for each puzzle added. Zigguphi is “phinary”. Phi is the golden ration, i.e. 1.618033988749… The number of moves increases by a factor phi for each piece added. This puzzle was one of a series of exponential puzzles, where the base is non-integer. The factor phi happened to turn up many times, including this puzzle. Iwahiro and Goetz Schwandtner mathematically confirmed the phinary nature of this puzzle.
