Unsupported Materials on Materialise OnSite

Hey folks,

I use your service to produce custom kilt pins, brooches, and similar accessories and have always been impressed with the quality of product and service.

All of my clients so far (including some in the process of design) have chosen steel for it’s unique finish and value. I notice this is not supported on Materialise OnSite based on the tables found here: https://onsite.helpjuice.com/technologies-materials/different-material-names-in-onsite-and-imaterialise

Could you please advise if I’m understanding that correctly, and if so, whether there’s any intention of materialise OnSite offering this material and its finishes? If not, I’m unfortunately going to have to seek alternative suppliers, which I’d really rather not do, as your products are great

In fact, I’m now seeing you’ve removed steel as a material option yourselves.

I have a couple of orders relying on this and don’t see any announcements by email or on the site about this material no longer being supported. Can you please offer some urgent guidance on this?

One specific piece is to match an existing brown steel brooch, and I’m not sure how close a match the brown-dyed aluminium would be.
