Question for Rubber-like (MJF)

Hello everyone! I would like to ask if Rubber-like (MJF) is suitable for printing a mold for casting! Thank you in advance!

Hi,

Thanks for your question. In general it can work as a positive shape which you can subsequently turn into a negative shape - a mold. Since our materials are not specifically offered for molding they may deflect or start warping/melting under high temperatures. Polyamide SLS would be a better option though. You may get more insight in this short helping article here: https://imaterialise.helpjuice.com/materials/making-a-mold

Thank you so much for the quick response! It was very helpful! I’m looking forward to send you my models for printing!
Thanks again!
Chris!
