New procedure for Payment with creditcard

Until recently I used to pay my orders with credit card. Today I tried to pay an order, but I was confronted with an unexpected MasterCard Secure menu, which invited my to supply confidential information, I already supplied (credit card nr, validity dat, security code).

Is this a fraudulent porocedure or a new security approach by i.nmaterialize. If so, how could I know that in advance?

We are using Ingenico for handling the payments.
Ingenico is an authorized payment platform for credit card payments.
Ingenico is offering the fraude detection, which we have enabled.
I am not sure whether this feature triggered the extra questions.
Did you have to fill in the info twice during the same payment or between 2 payments ?
