Need some help for creature print

Hi there,

I’m totally new to 3D printing and wanted to ask for some help and advice.
I want to print this creature I’ve sculpted. It’s splitted into 2 parts and I’ve added some connectors, too:

My first question is, would this setup work like this? I would upload them separately.
Or do I have to split the character even more, which I would like to avoid actually because of the seams.

Second question would be, what would be the best material for this kind of detail? I would like to achieve a grey clay or plastic look, with fine details and smooth sufaces, bascially similar to what you can see on the image above.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

Best regards,
Dean

Hello Dean,

Thank you for contacting us. If you want to print this model, we suggest to use gray resin. You can print this model in 2 pieces as shown, but in 1 piece is possible too.
All depends if you want to make a demountable set or not.
Hereby, I will send you the design guide of gray resin where you can find more information :

Alright, great! Thanks for your reply and the informations.
