Hi!
I would like to decorate an item with a full texture (photo) printed on top of it. Is it possible with multicolor+, or only the main colors are available for it?

Hi,
You can directly print fully or partially textured models with Multicolor+. It’s just that you’ll need to make sure the texture is properly applied to the 3D model. Check out our design guide for more info:

Keep us posted on how your 3D print comes out
Thank you very much will take a look into it, probably it was not applied properly.
When i uploaded the model to the site, the texture got weird, and that’s why i was worried if they can be used or just simple RGB colors.
Hi Lixon21,
There is an issue in the representation in our online 3dviewer in the specific case where textures on top of colors are used in 3mf files.
Not sure which file format you are using.
If the thumbnail in the cart has the right texture, then you are sure all is ok.
You could also go to the multiple file upload https://i.materialise.com/en/multiple-file-upload , hoover of the thumbnail, press the magnification glass and check.
Hope this info helps you verify whether the texture is what you expect.
Regards,
Wim
