Model file larger than 100MB

Hi there,

I failed to upload my model due to its size being bigger than the 100MB limit. My file (zipped) is about 230MB.

It’s a sculpture model intended for a color-printing.

The maximum file size of a 3D file you can upload to i.materialise is 100 MB. If your file exceeds this limit, we cannot provide you with an online price.

There are not any plans to increase the file size imit.

To reduce file size, you can remesh/decimate your 3D model to reduce the poly count (amount of triangles). It can be done without losing any detail. This feature is present in most popular 3D design software, but it may be called differently.
