Hi,
I need to make some gears that are quite small and are not commercially available. The 3D-printer that I am currently using does not produce a strong enough plastic for my applications. It is a production-ready 3D printer, so I do not think that plastic is suitable for my needs. What is the highest resolution metal 3D-printer that you have, and what material does it use?
Inquiry about Resolution of Metal 3D-Printing
Hello,
Resolution in most cases is referred to the level of detail and layer thickness a printer in a particular 3D printing technology can deliver. We offer various metals that are produced using different technologies, thus feel free to check this Z-resolution Comparison Table to get more insight on a layer thickness of material in 3D technologies we offer.
Accuracy and minimum outstanding details information can be found on a material page. For instance, 420 Alloy Steel is here, don’t forget to check the “DESIGN GUIDE” tab for production insights and tips.
You can also proceed to i.Materialise Metals to see the range of materials we offer in this category.

Ivan

Hi,
I have a FLSUN-QQ Pre-assembled Delta 3D Printer with a solid metal frame and I purchased it from 3D Printers Bay. This is one of the best equipment that I have used and it has a Print Size of φ260×370. Very satisfied with its working and the service of the store.
