I need to sterilize a 3d printed part
Dear Sofia,
thank you for your question.
If your model’s wall thickness is 0.3 mm I would suggest to 3D print it in High-Detailed Stainless steel (316L which consists of 6% boron, 10% silicon, 10% aluminum, 17% chromium, 12% nickel, and 2.2% molybdenum. Please click here to read more about the technical specifications of the stainless steel offered at i.materialise. If you are looking for a stronger and more heat resistant material, I would rather suggest Titanium for this purpose, though the minimum wall thickness must be 0.5 mm.
I hope this information can be useful for your project.
Kind regards,
Olha
