Help and advice needed

Hi, I’m ceramic product designer and artist from the UK. I’m very interested in printing 3D models for slip casting.

The website doesn’t have any pricing details?

I don’t currently have any digital 3D models at the moment as I don’t know if I can afford this process.

If the cost is affordable then I’ll produce digital 3D models. My designs are very smooth, simple designs for contemporary table and kitchenware.

Is there anywhere I can receive prices without submitting a 3D model. Could submit a CAD drawing with measurements?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi sgaull,
As we are an online 3D printing service, our platform is automated and depends on several variables (such as size, material, finishing technique) to calculate the price of a model. Unfortunately this means we cannot give a price estimate without a 3D model first. However, our platform does support a large range of file formats: https://imaterialise.helpjuice.com/using-imaterialise/supported-3d-file-formats. If you upload your model in any of those formats then the platform will be able to instantly calculate the price for you.
Kind regards,
Stephanie

Thanks Stephanie,

Appreciate your reply. Before working with a new company I have to work out the financial viability of the process.

I will upload a model and assess the prices.

Kind Regards
Stephen
