Helilabacus by OSKAR

Hi iMaterialise fans,

Helilabacus is a variation to Quartolabacus, which is a variation to the classic Astrolabacus puzzle. In the version, the paths of the beads are twisted around the pieces in a bent helix shape. Five of the pieces have a right-handed helix, the sixth (pink) has a left-handed helix. Can you guess why one of them was made different?

Unfortunately, some of the channels turned out a bit tight. So the beads do not slide that well.

By the way, have you noticed the “buy” pop-up at the bottom left near the end of the video? It took me quite a while, but I have finally figured out how to link directly from the video to the product. I do not expect it to get me any extra sales, but who knows?

Enjoy!
