Heat resistant up to 80°C

Hello,
I am looking for the right material to print something that should be somewhat heat resistant.
I have tried printing it in PLA myself, but it slightly warps over time.
I was thinking of polyamid instead. Maybe with the water proof treatment for easy cleaning.
Any other suggestions?

Cheers,
Ben

Hello Ben,

Normally I would say that for any use up to 80° Polyamide (SLS) would do. If you need something even more heat resistant, we could also offer Alumide which goes up to 130°.

You can find the technical specifications of both materials on our website at https://i.materialise.com/en

For the sealing of your design, we process your Polyamide part with an aqueous solution to fill small pores and close its outer surface or skin. Be aware that this finish is only available in white. Kind regards Lizy
