Hi iMaterialise fans,
Heart-to-Heart was designed with the Gearify v2 software by Michael Valle. I was invited as beta tester of new version 2, which supports involute gears. I started with a heart shape, and let Gearify calculate its companion. I took the average of the two shape, and repeated the process a few times. The results is two nearly-mirror-identical heart shapes that roll around each other. It is a fidget toy. Its purpose is to roll it endlessly and to stay mesmerized.
