Gold plating for hand jewelry

Hello,
I plan to print some jewelry in Steel and then have gold platen and polish - as part of the service you provide.
What is the gold platten resistance for touching with hands?
I mean does the golden platen can be peeled off as a result of contact with hands ?

Hello,

The gold plating will wear off when your model is exposed to friction as it is a very thin plating. But it will not peel off it just fade. Unless you brush it with a hard brush.
