Flexibility of SLS polyamide

Hello. I’ve created a design for a bracket. It consists of two parts and the idea is that they will snap together. As such, one part has prongs that are 20mm long, 2x2mm cross-section at the base and 2x1mm at the end, with a surface area of 2x2mm for them to actually snap.

My question is if I can assume SLS-printed polyamide has the flexibility to bend 2mm over these 20mm long prongs, or if I have to change anything in the design.

The design can be downloaded from https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Lr3tj2T15AdSw4M7GSN4AXELgzRQMZKv/view?usp=sharing

Thank you.

Hello,

It should be possible but it is extremely important that the current orientation is kept. Otherwise they’ll break.

Best regards,
Anna
