Encapsulating Polyjet full colour models

Are there any known issues with encapsulating Polyjet full colour models in clear PU resin under pressure (40PSI)?

It is possible for the massive, solid model that doesn’t have thin walls or hollows. Also the temperature should not go much over 40degC since the process would melt the model.

At our facilities we haven’t done this, thus can’t guarantee the proper output of this operation.

Hi Ivan
Many thanks, 40C wow! really, so there are no known surviving Polyjet colour models in Saudi or Kuwait?

Hi there,

Higher temperatures cause the material become softer so its geometry starts changing.
Regarding your question about surviving models, we unfortunately can’t advise.
