Copper Heat Sink

Hello,

I am looking to print a copper heat sink and had two basic questions:

  • What copper alloy is used?
  • Does the thermal conductivity decrease at all from the printing process?

Hi Shane,
it is 100% copper : https://i.materialise.com/3d-printing-materials/copper/technical-specifications
The final model is created using lost wax technology https://i.materialise.com/3d-printing-materials/copper#headerIdTechnology2 so the conductivity is not influenced by the printing process.
as only the wax model is 3d printed.
