Clarification On Storage of Deleted Models

Hello,
I uploaded and then put it in my cart, then I deleted that model, then replaced it with a slightly changed design and ordered it. The model is of an artistic abstract sculpture and the original file had an accidental obscene shape appearing in it, the new file corrected this. The order system held on to the deleted model and placed it with my order. I’ve been getting a run around with the consumer service as to how it could have happened. None of the emails seem to acknowledge that I deleted the file but only say it was my mistake for uploading it in the first place. This is very frustrating. I emailed about the issue within 5 hours (order place at 11:49 AM, emailed about mistake on the same day at 4:52). I was told it was too late to change it or cancel it.

I haven’t gotten a good answer from customer service. Maybe I can here. I would like to know how long the i.materialize systems hold onto deleted files, and why they don’t totally clear from orders once deleted? How much time exactly do I have to change or cancel an order?
