Ceramics Discontinued

We regret to inform you that from today, the 20th of December 2017, we stopped offering ceramics in our material portfolio.

Despite our attempts to stabilize the process, we were forced to conclude that we couldn’t guarantee the print quality for which we stand.

On i.materialise we are always in search of the latest trends in materials. We will keep a close eye out for improvements in ceramic 3D printing and hope to re-include ceramics in our offering as the technology progresses.

There’s a little hope in your message Franky. Since I joined i.materialise I ordered several ceramic prints and I would like to continue to make designs for ceramic print. I hope in the near future maximum box size and color palette will increase. However I understand the quality issue because since I decided to sell some of my designs, quality became also one of my issues.
