Can polyamide jewellery be printed with a 2mm x 2mm cross-section

I’m designing a piece of jewellery that will be made up of curved filaments of 3D printed polyamide. I plan to give the filaments a square cross-section, 2mm x 2mm in dimension. Is this too narrow? What’s the minimum printable cross-section?

I saw the example given for retaining pieces for a single project in a sprig. I saw the sprig sections were 3mm in diameter. Is a 3mm diameter the measurement I should be using for my designs?

Thanks

Dear Phil,

For a wire structure jewelry piece, wall thickness of 1.5 – 2 mm should be enough to avoid deformation.
