Aluminide - Grain size

Hi,

I’m interested in the grain size of the aluminium additve in the aluminde.
Can anyone give me any numbers?
And how reproducible are the material properties?

Hello Paul, the average grain size of our alumide is 60 µm. The mechanical properties depend on the x-, y-, z-position of the parts and on the exposure parameters used. You can also find more information on https://www.materialise.com/en/manufacturing/materials/alumide. Kind regards Lizy
