TOP MIDDLE is the original autocad CGI of approx 15 different starships of the same ‘fleet aesthetic’, TOP LEFT the cgi is taken into photoshop and a book cover generated, flame effects are from a bonfire night (spot the child on dad’s shoulders) . TOP RIGHT the ‘Light Cruiser’ design is 3d printed in 17 parts with a finished length of just over 3ft long glued with epoxy and superglue (plastic cement is not effective). BOTTOM physical painting of HMS Unity is 90% complete using acrylic and enamel model paints…antenae are chrome sowing needles (SHARP!), lifeboats are detachable, all turrets and dish are designed to have full rotation. YES it cost a LOT to do! Final model is for sale and will come with a perspex display case. price TBA
