3D Model Datasize Multicolor+

Hi,
I would like to print a Character with Multicolor+.
My Problem is, that my Model has 99 MB and my Texture- a single 8K png is also 59 MB.
So if i want to upload it, I have to shrink my Texture to 1MB…
The size of the Figure should be 18 cm.
Also going down with the Polycount would kill Details of the Figure and makes problems with UVs.
So my Question is, how can I get a Price for the print and what textureresolution makes sense?
(I have no experience with Multicolor)
A second Question:
On the "Mimaki"Page I read that the Multicolor+ is printed with the 3DUJ-553 are the Quality Examples
from this printer nearly the results from the Multicolor+?

I would be grateful for an answer.

Thank you for contacting us. If you want to make an order in multicolor, you need to upload 3 files :

  • obj
  • mtl
  • jpeg
    Afterwards, you need to ZIP these files and upload this ZIP file on our website. Please try. Normally, it should work.

thank you, ok the obj zips much better than the FBX… now i have 88 MB it works thanks.
