Description
Models made out of high detail resin are constructed from a photo polymeric liquid. High detail is ideal for small and/or very finely-detailed visual models. Although the functional use of this material is rather limited, the model will have a smooth surface.

Technology
PolyJet prototyping technology is used to build your design with this material. Objet’s patented PolyJet inkjet technology works by jetting photopolymer materials in ultra-thin layers onto a build tray, layer by layer, until the model is completed. Each photopolymer layer is cured by UV light immediately after being jetted, producing fully cured models that can be handled and used immediately. The gel-like support material, which is specially designed to support complicated geometries, can easily be removed by hand and water jetting.
Additional information
- We recommend that models in high detail not exceed the dimensions of 100x100x100 mm.
- Support material is printed together with the model. It has to be removed and limits the freedom of design.
- Post finishing a high detail model with paint is possible but leads to a possible loss of detail.
